This is such a beautiful thermostat. Be careful, the thermostat housing is no longer produced. It is not difficult to replace the thermostat valve and gaskets. It is difficult to replace the two fittings on both sides of the thermostat.
This is a sore spot in everyone, and I could not find such tubes anywhere. Maybe someone knows - let me know! Therefore, I had to order tubes individually from a turner. It seems like a simple part, but it took a month to repair it.
But now you can drive at least to Africa :)
Ось такий красивий термостат. Будьте обережні, корпус термостата вже не виробляють. Замінити клапан термостату і ризинки - це не складно. Складно замінити два штуцера з обох боків термостата. Це хворе місце в усіх, і таких трубочок я не зміг знайти ніде. Може хтось знає - підкажіть! Тому прийшлось замовляти трубки індивідуально у токаря. Ніби проста деталь, але на її ремонт пішов місяць. Але тепер можна їхати хоч в Африку:)

The valve gasket from the kit did not fit... This is strange. I did not expect this from Gates. I had to order a gasket separately. Here is it's number. Прокладка клапана з комплекту не підійшла... Що дивно... Не очікував такого від Gates. Довелось замовляти прокладку окремо. Ось її номер.
And these are the fittings that I looked for everywhere, but did not find. But I found a turner who turned the tubes for me. These will not rot. Це ті самі трубки, які я шукав скрізь, і так і не знайшов. Але знайшов токаря, який їх виточив. Ці не згниють.

I am assembling with this sealant. Very high quality especially for hydraulic parts. Збираю на цей герметик - дуже якісний саме для гідравлічних вузлів.
The sealant should barely come out from under the parts - then it is correctly applied. Герметик має ледь вийти з під деталей. Тоді він правильно нанесений.
Done! The thermostat is ready for installation on the engine. Now you can be sure of it. Also, don't forget a new thermostat gasket. Зроблено! Термостат готовий до встановлення на двигун. Тепер я в ньому впевнений! Також не забудьте нову прокладку термостата.
